DECAYED MEMORIES

In June of 2012, I lost my home to a wildfire. It made me realize just how much we connect our objects to memory and self identity. While I lost all of me possessions unwillingly, many people choose to abandon theirs. I set out to photograph domestic and urban objects that were once treasured, and are now forgotten. I see the state of these objects as an alternate reality for the possessions I lost.
